From the water color series “encounters with angels”, 1997, 

Sometimes when we are at a most vulnerable situation, unexpected things happen, it seemed as if the whole universe is entangled in what happens to us personally.  For a number of years, I silently suffered a sexual harassment and retaliation folowing my complaint, a parallel experience was taking place. 

Maybe the enormous need for love, for compassion, peace, reconciliation, opened a hidden sense to me, a sense that showed a parallel reality where beautiful light shined on everything around me. 

Angels where part of it, angels were present everywhere, on every corner, hidden in the trees, in rooms, only to be visible to me, angels that protected me and guided me. 

It was the most amazing experience in my life, I will always be grateful for that.
